Lightbulb Vancouver Motorcycle shops - Recommendations and reviews

New guy here, just wanted to ask people in Vancouver, and the lower mainland in general, about shops around the city. I'm looking for insight into shops around the city in terms of who you've dealt with and how your experience was with them. I've been to a few places like Rising Sun, 2nd Gear, and Essential. But I'm interested as to what you guys have encountered out there for the work you needed.

I'm new to riding and don't have a lot of technical knowledge on doing work myself so I'm relying on local shops for things such as parts and maintenance.

Obviously the goal isn't to **** on or witch hunt a place but constructive criticisms are appreciated!

Re: Vancouver Motorcycle shops - Recommendations and reviews

Burnaby Kawasaki has been my trusted place since 1992. It's a Kawasaki dealership, but they have worked on Suzuki's in the past. I do all the work on my SV so I haven't gone to a Suzuki shop since 1990 when I had my 83 GS550ES serviced at Modern Motorcyling on Commercial, but that was 25 years ago. I know MSpeed has SV experience as the Owner raced one for years. Holeshot is a big dealership I would go to because Ron in the service department used to work at Burnaby Kawasaki for years and he helped me out more times than I can remember. I used to know every shop in the Lowermainland....but that was the 90's and so much has changed since then.
