Seats

'04... Which seat ... a Corbin or a Sargent ? I may even get my stock seat done by a custom seat guy near here....

In the US, this place does the best SV650 seat mods. He may have a cousin down under, dunno

From what I have seen of these replacement seat they have a high cost.You may be better off doing as you say and having a word with the Custom guy for the best seat foam like,"Memory foam" etc.I was thinking of getting the cheapest 2nd hand seat I could find of eBay or similar and getting that custom done.My curvy seat ain't too bad but I do get a bit of ar*e ache after around 140 miles on a day out :/

I have had both brands. The Corbin is lower, narrower, sportier. The Sargent is broader in front and back, a little higher and softer.

You can find a cheap base on eBay, buy a Sargent cover and get the cushion custom made for your needs.

I've had six different seats over the years, and Spencer's custom cushion in a stock cover was the best.
