No I wouldn't ditch it even if it was plastic. That bike is a work of art. Was kind of joking all the folks who have to have F/E's. I don't have F/E's on my bikes. Should'a put one of these in there, I guess.
I did say J/K...

This is a GREAT thread. I've gone back to the beginning for another trip. Thanks to everybody for all the yummy pics, especially you, RD.

Yeah I know, I was joking too. Now I do wonder if it is CF. I mean, if you are going to make everything else CF why not?

It looks like it's CF, and I'll bet that it removes with one bolt or a quick disconnect for track duty.

I wouldn't own a bike that pricey, but if I did, yes I'd have a less obtrusive plate holder made of CF with some Ti trim and fasteners.

OK this is cheating, but a 1938 BSA with Mods......(Buell engine, V-rod headlight etc.) pretty neat.

Morph--

That's a pretty cool looking scoot! A thumper, like the original BSA, but a bit more modern and reliable...

Yeah, but what's the plumbing/wiring going back to the left pannier?
