New OEM SV 1000 clutch baskets

If any of you have tried to order a new OEM clutch basket from Suzuki in the past year or two, you might have noticed it took a long time to arrive.

I have waited 6 weeks for an order to come in. The last two orders came in a reasonable time. Date coding on the baskets indicates they were a "new" batch.

So, while those are here I still wonder if Suzuki is about to phase out production of this part. Manufacturers only make parts for discontinued models for so long, and ten years is a common time frame. We are past that!

At the moment I have 3 new OEM baskets in stock. I try to keep at least one in stock at all times. These get the same exact modifications that a used clutch basket gets. Cost for a new OEM SV 1000 clutch basket with full WERKS modifications is $645 US ( that includes shipping in the US ). Suzuki did raise the price of the SV 1000 clutch baskets, compared to the DL 1000 clutch basket. I keep those in stock too, but they are NOT interchangeable.

If you have questions about your SV 1000 clutch e-mail me. [email protected]
