LED light conversion for the dash?

Hey all, since my dash light recently went out, anyone know the size of the bulbs needed?

Not sure about the number, but I've seen others use www.superbrightleds.com for LED replacement dash and other unusual 12V bulbs.

Re: LED light conversion for the dash?

I just bought a spare dash for the S model, happens to be sitting right in front of me! Took a look and there's 8 bulbs. All appear to be T5 (just google the equivalent size for your locale)
For the 5 warning lights, as printed on the circuit board and verified on the bulbs, 4 of them are 1.7W. The 5th is 3W and used for the turn signal indicator. I can't see the wattage for the 3 dial lights sorry.

If the entire display is dark you have a connection problem, not a bulb problem.
There are two O/G wires from Fuse 5 to the gauges.
One of them powers the backlight bulbs.

just my speedo light is out. I have all the wattage numbers from the diagrams, but I can't find LEDs with the little craddle things. Should I just reuse the old ones? Looks like I just gotta unbend the leads on the old bulb, and insert the leads from the LED and rebend, might need to spot solder it. I was really hoping there was already an LED with that little plastic craddle thing that holds the bulb onto the unit.
