front brake pad replacement

Hello guys,
I'm looking for a good front brake pad replacement, i have a stock rotor, so i cant have anything too fancy either.

Anyone has any suggestions?
I'm thinking of Versah or EBC.

Also, i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix a brake rotor lip?

Many thanks!

Re: front brake pad replacement

I've never had a bad experience with EBC but I always buy from a reputable supplier and not eBay/Amazon as there are fakes about.

As for a,"Lip" if you mean on the Discs then new discs are the way to go.

Re: front brake pad replacement

I've had great luck with EBC HH pads. Vesrah are also popular. Any of the known manufacturers will work well. The first step is deciding on which compound you want to use (sintered vs. organic)

Re: front brake pad replacement

Just switched from OEM brake pads to EBC HH FA (sintered), in conjunction with a dedicated kit of braided steel lines.

This made a HUGE difference in braking power on my 3rd gen. bike.
