SV650 2005 Rev limiter problem

I got a SV650 in a trade for a 955i triple speed triumph that had been wrecked. I like my SV its pretty cool repainted it blah blah blah.. I notice when i hit my rev limiter it just lags it doesnt bounce up and down fast it sounds like if you hit a rev limiter and played it back slowed down. It sounds like it struggles when the rev limiter is going up and down like Vrun... vrun.. vrun.. I dont know what it could be but if someone would care to help me i can give u my phone number and send a video! Thanks for the help!

Re: SV650 2005 Rev limiter problem

My thought is that the STVs must be involved in this.
When it hits the limiter, just upshift. No problem

Re: SV650 2005 Rev limiter problem

peak power is far enough before rev limiter that there aren't many times where it makes sense to hit it
