Hi guys, I'm new here as you are my last possible solution. My SV650 let me down on boxing day while i was going home. After I finish shopping I stopped by my friend. When i left my friend's house, I start my SV650, I let it warm up for 5 minutes as every time then i get on it and tried to go home, a mile away from my friends house the engine suddently cut off. I pulled over and i switched the key off and on, the fuel pump sound was coming on as it should but when i press the start button it wouldn't do nothing, i tried push starting it I couldn't as i was by myself and it was cold outside. I managed to get it home and today in the morning i start to remove the panels and have a look around. I checked the fuses, they allright, the kill switch, stand switch and clutch switch are allright as the pump is coming on when i test it. Then the same problem i couldn't see why it doesn't react when i pressed the start button. Anyway, I needed a break as I was too angry so i got a cup if tee and warm up for about an hour. When i got back to the bike i put the key in, turn the ignition on, the fuel pump won't come in anymore, F1 on display, i put it into dealer mode to find out the Fault Code which it was -C42 and that is quite all so far, I read some threads about this, honestly i Can't understand nothing what is out there I need a quick solution cuz i really need to ride my bike. Please tell me how to fix it, as clear as possible. Suzuki SV650 K5, Fully Faired, 2005, had it for 1 and half month, Fully Serviced 3 weeks ago (K&N Filters, EBC Brake Pads, Castrol Brake Fluid, Castrol Performance Fully Synthetic oil, -30 to +140 Degrees coolant, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs). THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHAARGED.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
