while they're apart, do...

Re: Modification

it's only for emissions. doesn't save gas.

also, the hundreds of dollars you'll spend on swapping heads and coils will take you years to offset with any fuel savings. if you want to burn less...

Re: Chain Tensioning?

it depends on the bike, for a lot of ours we dont ever have to hold the axle. just a difference in how jammed up it is in he bearings and spacers

Re: Chain Tensioning?

the right side isn't a nut. it's the end of the the axle that the nut is on. they work together. if the axle spins, you cant tighten/loosen the nut

Re: Need new forks / Post accident

if one is bent, the other is tweaked also. the forks on these bikes are like wet noodles.
so you should go shopping or 2.
all the gladius/3g forks are the same UP UNTIL THE 4 POT CALIPER ones

Re: Finally happened... my first real crash on my SFV650 Gladius

true, except the out-braking part. cars and cruisers have better stopping distances than sportbikes because of the weight on the tires and no having stoppie problems.

Re: engine swap

you'll need to get a 2g tank and fuel pump.
why not just keep the carbs? it's trivial to change an fi engine to carb mode (swap over the flywheel, stator, rear intake manifold from the 1g)
