SV Cruise Control

From: Tony Kesler

I was looking around for information on cruise control devices for my ‘01 SVS. The cheaper Vista series was too thick for the slot in the throttle and the control housing. Then I remembered somewhere that the quick route was a O ring. A long time ago someone passed on the tip to an SV site about the about yellow silicon O Ring supplied by the giant Caterpillar Company.

I located the part number and went to the local Caterpillar service center and bought 2 for about $13.00 CDN or 2 – 3 lbs sterling.

The part number is: CAT 4M - 4991.

Just slide it on over the bar end and it fits snuggly in place between the twist grip and the bar end. Works great.
