| Battery Tip |
By Patrick McShane I soon realized that, although one could get a jump start from a car, getting the jumper cables to stay clamped on the SV battery terminals was quite a trick. A simple way to fix this is to take the little terminal bolts out and replace them with something longer, using a nut as a spacer. I think the threading is M10, but not sure. Anyway, this doubles the height of the terminal posts for under a buck. If you can find brass screws, that would be nice, but I've had plain old steel hardware on for well over a year with no problems. |
