Broken Drive Train

From: Bill Harworth

Broken drive chain - the master link came apart after  a new chain at 6000 miles and the chain did some damage.  Broke the clutch pushrod in 3 pieces and cut up the oil seal.  Had to use a small magnet to extract the last broken piece.  Be careful when pushing in the new seal - just go flush with the case or it drops into a cavity near the bearing.  Get a high quality chain with a master link that needs to be spiked, instead of clipped.  Lucky there wasn't damage to the crankcase.
