Turtle wax on your helmet and visor?

Ever wax your hemlet & visor? Every once in a while I apply car wax to my helmet and the visor. With a nice coat of wax, it's less likely to get all scratched up, and it's a whole lot easier to clean the bugs and grime off.

Re: Turtle wax on your helmet and visor?

There was a really cool product I saw reviewed on webbikeworld that I was thinking of ordering. I'll have to look it up when I get home.

Yep, I've done this and it works pretty good.

I wax my helmet, but clean and then rain-X my visor. Been rain-Xing for years with no problems.

I clean and wax with a microfiber cloth and detail spray called aqua wax. Wax on, wax off....danial son. Makes those bugs an easy clean and keeps from getting scratches
