^^

Very nice. Can we call you BJ from now on? Still I am curious why an Italian would buy a Kawasaki.

Well, those two things and that big bulky block & sump...
Serious question; why would you build such a beautifully clean bike and put the reservoir on the outside? I like big heavy looking engines, for 4-strokes anyway. They give me the confidence of longevity.

answer to question 1, I wanted a bike with no plastic, with wire wheels, with rubber bellows on the forks, with the kickstarter, air-cooled, twin cylinder max, then there is also a budget and reliability 'of the Japanese bikes , the latest Ducati SportClassic cost too much and the upside-down forks are not suitable for the type of motorcycle, the Bonneville is too expensive and does not have the kickstarter ... unfortunately the royal enfield are very rare in Italy, and are not sure of 'reliability '.
sorry but I did not understand the second question ...
sorry but I use google translator :-)

Bill Warner's 311mph turbo 'Busa:

I do really want to run 200mph at Bonneville at some point - I think that building or buying a bike and doing the Loring event a few times would be good preparation.

I wonder what the Honda salesman would say if I asked how well the CBR1000RR's ABS works at 210mph on salt.
