How To: Test Your Regulator/Rectifier
b/c of the influx of electrical questions being asked in the past week, i thought i'd take the liberty & upload the section of the service manual that tells how to test the r/r. if you don't where to download the service manual it's at that british sv650 organization website
so, here it is, the proper way to test your r/r. keep in mind that the r/r may not always test faulty even when they are bad.

The *NOTE* at the bottom needs clarification.....the technical writer that wrote that manual probably does know his stuff, but something got lost in between thinking about the procedure in his head and putting the procedure down on paper. ![]()
