2000 SV650N- Flatter Handlebars? Clip-ons?

Hi GUys,

I'm 200 mile sinto my SV650 experience. I'm digging it and starting to get used to the handling. Next issue, the handlebars are starting to bug me a little bit. I feel like I'm too upright and they are pulled back too far, especially when I'm trying to tuck in.

I anyone using a flatter, wider aftermarket handlebar set? What brand? Looking at the front end, I'm not sure clip-ons would fit. Is anyone using clip-ons on a naked bike? If so, what brand?

I've never chnaged handlebars before. I assume the components just pull of the old handlebars and slide onto the new ones. Right?

Thanks for the info. That actually looks like the oppposite of what I'm looking for. They are higher and further back, right? Did you flip them upside-down?

Here's a comparison chart including stock sv650n dimensions.

You want less pullback and less rise. I got gp touring and european, wound up using the superbike. drag bars would be more radical-no rise at all (or no pullback if you rotate them)
