Well I don't live in a state that salts it's roads, but that doesn't mean this wouldn't be a good thing to add to the maintenance list. Nice find and thanks for sharing.

You don't need salt to have those bobbins seize up. Part of my routine walk around is to grab the rotor and make sure that it's moving side to side all around the carrier. Good vid none the less.

I gave my rotor buttons the "treatment" as seen in the video. They weren't in terrible shape, but before I cleaned them, I couldn't rotate the buttons with my fingers. Now, I can, so things are a bit more free-floating than they were.

I've got my "rotor button grabber tool" (nut and bolt) in a small zip lock bag, labeled, for the next cleaning session.

Ahhhh... the feeling of accomplishment! :icon_biggrin:

Salty roads or not thanks for the post any video that starts off "this vid will save your disc from warping" gets my attention (have replaced 2 rotors now)
