The Chinese are coming (to 650 class)

The Chinese are coming too. Formerly content to stay around the 250 and smaller class, and make some engines for the big guys, they are pushing ahead with the CFMOTO 650 NK, a fairly close copy of the Kawasaki ER-6n.

Expect a dealer network to show up this year.

Looks good. Obviously ride and build quality would be a concern of mine.

I guess they already have a US site as well.
http://www.cfmoto-us.com/onroad/deta...x?productId=31

My estimate would be that their competition would be with Hyosung.

Those Chinese riders take getting on and off the bike very seriously I see.

Holy chit: http://www.cfmoto-us.com/onroad/deta...x?productId=32

Is that the little baby of a ST1300 and Concours 14?

Also, a Ducati ECU? Does Ducati know about it?

You should at least provide the source when your entire post is cut and paste from a magazine.
What about your actual opinion?

Re: The Chinese are coming (to 650 class)

I would actually expect worse quality than Hyosung.. which no one wants to admit actually wasn't horrible. While it wasn't amazing, it was still not a bad deal. Yes i've ridden a number of Hyosungs and I've owned two SV's.. and I've worked on all of them...
