Dont buy delkevic exhaust
I just recently Bought a 320mm Delkevic tri oval slip on for my sv 650, and not even 100 miles in the carbon fiber started melting and started making a really bad baffling noise. They are very cheaply made so do your sef a favor and dont buy one.

Re: Dont buy delkevic exhaust
Not to be an ******* but, there are loads of members who have had no problem with their delkevic exhausts, so you got a bad one, contact the company and see what they can do to make it right

Re: Dont buy delkevic exhaust
Hmmmm, zero posts.
Can you post pictures of this exhaust?
After almost 2 years with and 15,000 miles on a 350mm carbon Delkevic, with zero problems, I have a hard time believing you. Though lemons can still come from good products.
Did you contact Delkevic, they have very good customer service, and the muffler has a 1 year warranty.

Re: Dont buy delkevic exhaust
ive heard one other thing that was negative about delkevic, and it ended up being the customers fault.
dont let this turn into that. delkevic actually makes a pretty decent exhaust for how much they cost. contact them, they should replace it. if they do, done deal. youre good.
like slim said, you got a bad one out of tons of good ones. dont knock them until they REALLY do wrong by you.

+1 on whatever one else has said. Contact delkevic, they should take care of it for you. 10,000+ miles on mine no problems.

Re: Dont buy delkevic exhaust
Delkavic IS cheaply made, but I still say its a lot of bang for your buck, and was very happy with mine. I now have a yoshi carbon system on my SV1000, and the only differance I can see is the resin is a bit thicker on the yoshi pipes. Worth the extra 600 bucks it costs? Not really. Could Delk put just a bit more resin on..? Yes.
Oh and, wrong section. If your going to create an account just to bash on a product and make yourself feel better. Do it in the right section atleast.

Re: Dont buy delkevic exhaust
Not a lover of the Delk either. I have a friend who had one and yes its loud but not great loud just loud and his carbon was beginning to look bad too.
