Lightbulb SV1000 Naked: How to Mod?

Hey everyone... I own a Silver 2003 SV1000 Naked and I want to embark on a project to totally overhaul the bike. If you were going to (or have) mod the bike from scratch, what would you do? What parts? Have specifics? I have a few thoughts but I am withholding for the sake of a pure response. Please do not make cost the driving factor in your opinions.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

2into1 exhaust, then everybody will think they were just smoked by a 650!! lol

suspension should be your friend, spend $$ there first..

Yep suspension is the best way to spend money on your SV. Next I would say Exhaust and a PC with a custom tune (the tune is worth every penny). Also adjust your TPS

I would say that if he gets a custom tune, he might want to adjust the TPS (which isn't a mod, BTW...it's actually maintenance). He might want to do this even before adding a PC.

Re: SV1000 Naked: How to Mod?

slimesbro, I am looking to do just that but I am honestly looking for suggestions.

One thing I am looking to do, for example, is to put some GSXR 750 forks on there and possibly do the same to the rear. Also looking to modify the exhaust (of course) and trying to decide between slip ons or a tail exhaust...

There are a lot of ideas out there and I am looking to see what other people would do so I can compare against my own thoughts and go from there

Do the usual stuff, then do something totally unexpected. I'm currently working on retrofitting a KTM superduke headlight onto mine and fighterizing it from an S model

I'm not trying to be an ass. I can't understand why new members join and ask retarded question "what should I do". this site is all about helping each other.

just look around on the site and you will see other people's ideas. why do we have to tell you what you should do? GSXR front end and rear is possible all it takes is money.
