SV1000S Makeover...

UPS delivered my fairings today. It only took me about 30 minutes to get them installed once I rounded up all the tools I needed (had to borrow the 2 large allen wrenches from my neighbor). It came with all the necessary hardware to mount them (the guy at Ron Ayers said they didn't come with the fairings so I was a little worried). I'm STOKED! I can't believe how different it looks. The color match is almost perfect. I'm assuming the paint on the bike has faded to some extent but for 2 separate paintjobs done at different times, it is spot on. Just wanted to see what you guys thought about it.

Yeah I need some pretty soon. Anyone remember the thread that has the ones that take the place of the OEM mounts? The 2-piece ones... first part bolts on then the fairing is sandwiched between it and the puck?

had this in a seperate thread about lowers on 1ks today, motosliders makes a no drill slider for OEM lowers...for SV650 ONLY, sorry man, you can get the ones that go on the curved brackets(suzuki OEM ones)

Looks SO much more complete. I mentioned in another thread. Either completely naked or fully faired. In between doesnt look good.

I really liked the way it looked before until I got them put on. Now I don't think I could ever go back to semi-faired. Like you said, fully clothed or naked. No in-betweens.

Hit up nudist I believe about the sliders. He was doing limited runs for the 1K for a no drill slider for those with the lower fairings...

No one else makes em that I found when I had my 1K. Least not sliders I would want...
