Yes, I am aware of the fake mounting tab...lol. It bugs me every time I see it because it just seems like it should be set up better.

Yeah, that's a good suggestion. After they replaced it, I broke of one the first time I took the wheel off...I was using an actual stem stand instead of my wooden slider stands and the wheel dropped before I was ready and one tooth broke off from the sensor. I glued it back with JB Weld. Then the next time it was two broken...and now this time it's all four.

IIRC, the seal of the speedo drive housing is static, ie doesn't turn, it rides against the inside of the rim hub, which does turn. Since it's rubber against rotating aluminum, it should get some grease to lubricate it and to seal out water. Same thing applies to axle seals.
Great info! Thanks! It never occurred to me to grease the sensor seal.
