I've been looking through a lot of threads to find the right streetfighter/bobber look for my bike. I was going through your build thread but a lot of the pictures aren't available anymore so I was having a tough time following some of your steps. I think I figured most of it out but I have a couple questions. For background, I have an 01 sv650s modded to naked and I'm looking to shave a little off (primarily the rear seat). If possible, I'd like my bike to resemble this http://lolinter.net/IMG_0146.small.JPG .

1) With the BRG subframe, what did you do? I'm assuming you just sawed off the top 'arch' piece and left the rest as is. How much work was it to do stuff such as re-connect the pipe and rearrange the wiring?

2) Did you keep the stock seat the entire time? With my color scheme I would like the look of a brown leather seat, so I'm thinking about ordering a Corbin, which fits the stock seat bolt locations, etc.

Yup, I'll be parting out the engine. All parts are in awesome shape... well except for the case half where the shift shaft was connected. :P

I'll get the engine parts back from the shop later today and start listing the parts.
