Team Tack Pipe The team, currently known as Track Pipe racing, is competing in the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association's (CMRA) big bike endurance series on an SV in Lightweight Superbike. This is the first year of motorcycle racing for two of the three riders on the team, though we have also competed in karts, autocross and catamarans (twin-hull boats) individually. The year looks to be an exciting one as we compete in what is the most well attended motorcycle endurance series in the USA! Our team consists of David, John and myself. David is an expert rider that was seeking a no frills sort of team to run with and have fun teaching some new guys racing. John and I ran about 14 track days together last year (he was on an F2, me on an F4i), attended Pridmore's STAR school at Barber in August and then made the decision to start racing late last year and a full schedule this year. The series is 7 races in length, each varying in length from 4 to 8 hours. We are also members of the Texas Sportbike Association and often post our track day experiences and tribulations to the site for others to enjoy and learn from our mistakes. I would relish the opportunity to write for your readers and present an account of our race weekend from whatever perspective you desire. Thank you!
